Our client igus is very innovative and experimental. A strong focus on customers and an incredibly inspiring hands-on mentality repeatedly leads to new successful business areas.

In January 2019, igus approached us with a product idea. So, together, we conducted a design sprint to test the idea with potential customers. The result of an intense week was various solution sketches, a prototype, a lot of customer feedback, and a strategy for how to proceed.

Within 3 months, we developed the MVP (Minimal Viable Product) of rbtx.com and a trade show demo for the HMI (Hannover Messe for Industry). The trade show demo was a robot application based on AWS IoT Greengrass, exhibited at the igus and Amazon AWS booths.

We have been continuously managing the design and technology of rbtx.com since then, assisting the client in various workshops to adapt the strategic direction.

Today, rbtx.com is rolled out globally and a market leader in robotics applications. Over 400 automation solutions have been implemented through this platform to date.

In collaboration with the client, we developed an online marketplace within a short period and presented it at the trade show, using modern Design Thinking methods.

We also jointly operated a booth with Amazon, attracting international interest. We still support and manage the marketplace, assisting our client on the path to long-term success.
