Its maintenance-free, lubrication-free plastic solutions enable durable, lightweight, and cost-efficient machinery — trusted by customers across 80+ countries and 50 industries. ## THE WHOLE STORY   ChatGPT came out in spring and of course we were also flashed. What a cool thing! We absolutely had to play around with it! So we built various prototypes: A vector-based search, an app with general voice conversation and an assistant for configurators. It was all quite interesting, but none of it really impressed us. Then we thought we'd try something different: we'd make a 1:1 copy of chatGPT and add new features that we find interesting for eCommerce. The whole thing in the context of our customer igus with the connection of products, prices and calculation logics. This project is ongoing and we are constantly learning, not only in terms of customer benefit, but also technically.
